Cookie Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used on the-a.xyz. It applies to cookies, local storage and comparable technologies. It is intended to meet Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications, and the GDPR where personal data is processed.

2. Necessary and preference storage

• NEXT_LOCALE — first-party cookie, set when you actively choose a language; remembers that choice for up to one year.
• theme — first-party local-storage preference, set when you actively choose light or dark mode; retained until you change it or clear browser data.
• the-a.xyz.cookie-preferences — first-party local storage; records the version, date, expiry and choice for optional Trustpilot reviews for 180 days. It is necessary to respect and remember your choice.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — a security verification loaded with the contact form to protect it from automated abuse. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical storage while providing this security function. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not require an optional-cookie choice.
• Other Cloudflare security technologies — may use strictly necessary technical storage only when required to protect the site or respond to malicious traffic.

3. Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (formerly Browser Insights) to understand aggregate page performance and availability. Cloudflare states that its real-user-monitoring beacon does not access or store cookies, local storage, session storage or other browser storage, and does not fingerprint or track people across sites. It therefore does not require a cookie-consent choice under the device-storage rule. It can process limited technical and navigation metrics, including performance timings, page path, referring host, country, device category, browser and operating-system information.

We use this feature under our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use it for advertising, marketing audiences, individual profiling or to associate analytics with contact-form messages. Cloudflare retains unsampled beacon data for seven days and sampled, aggregated reporting is available for up to six months. Cloudflare operates a global network, so limited data may be processed outside the EEA, including the United States, subject to its applicable transfer safeguards. 4. Optional Trustpilot reviews

Trustpilot reviews are optional. The Trustpilot widget and its script are not loaded until you choose Enable reviews in the banner, the review section, or Cookie settings. If enabled, Trustpilot may store or access information on your device and process technical data under its own privacy and cookie policy. Trustpilot is not necessary to use this website.

5. Your choice and withdrawal

Accepting is never inferred from browsing, scrolling, closing a notice or inactivity. Rejecting optional technology is as easy as enabling it. You can change or withdraw the optional Trustpilot choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future Trustpilot loading on this site; you can also remove any existing third-party cookies through your browser settings or Trustpilot’s controls.

6. No advertising analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social-media pixels or similar advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Google Search Console is used by the site operator to view Google Search performance reports and does not load a Google tracking tag in visitors’ browsers.

7. Language

The Czech version of this Cookie Policy is the official and controlling version. The English version and any future translations are faithful translations provided for convenience. If a translation differs from the Czech version, the Czech version prevails.
